ARQUITETURA PARA A GUERRA: AS FORTIFICAÇÕES DE MONTERREY, NUEVO LEÓN DURANTE O CONFLITO MÉXICO-ESTADOS UNIDOS EM 1846

Através da análise de documentos históricos como plantas, litografias e descrições de combatentes, esta pesquisa explora a caracterização das fortificações construídas pelo exército mexicano para defender a cidade de Monterrey, Nuevo León, durante a Guerra Mexicano-Estados Unidos (1846-1848) como objetivo de compreender qual era o seu desenho e funcionalidade no contexto do conflito, para enriquecer o conhecimento deste importante evento.
A análise deste tipo de elementos proporciona uma visão mais completa das táticas defensivas e contribui para o conhecimento sobre a evolução da arquitetura militar em resposta aos conflitos armados, abrindo portas para futuras pesquisas comparativas com outros campos de batalha relacionados com esta etapa crucial do México história.
